About The Club
The Pewee Valley Woman's Club encourages camaraderie among members, who join together to share their gifts and talents. Our interests include, but are not limited to community affairs, support of education and charitable service.
Located in beautiful Pewee Valley, Kentucky, we welcome all women who are interested in membership. Members reside throughout Oldham County and surrounding counties. Our monthly meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month.
Club activities include, but are not limited to:
The Historic Clubhouse and facilities, including a beautifully treed lot, are available for rent to the public. The building has a capacity of 40 with tables and chairs included in the rental charge.
The Clubhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Central Avenue Historic District.

On the grounds of the Pewee Valley Woman’s Club – 218 Mt. Mercy Drive “An
Eclectic Fine Arts & Crafts Show” to be Juried by the Committee
This one-day show is in its 4th year. Proceeds from the booth rental are earmarked for
scholarships through Oldham County Community Scholarships. We offer an opportunity to
share your art with the Oldham County and Greater Louisville community. Booth space is
available for $75.00 for a 12’ x 12’ outdoor space.
Please submit the following application with a photo of your work and your tent display.
Include payment for your requested booth space (see next page). Your application and
payment will be returned if you are not selected. Applications due no later than APRIL 30, 2024.

SHOW DETAILS:
This is an OUTDOOR SHOW. While we will take every precaution to protect your work, booth,
and art, we will not be responsible for loss due to weather, theft, or damage.
Pricing
• “Booth Space” refers to one 12’ x 12’ outdoor space. One space rental is $75.00.
• Multi-Booth Space: If one artist requests more than one 12’ x 12’ booth space,
additional connecting 12’ x 12’ booths will be charged $65.00.
• “Bring a Friend”: If a returning artist encourages a fellow artist to rent a booth there will
be a rebate of $10.00. The invited artist must acknowledge the link when submitting
their application.
Set-up
• The Clubhouse grounds will be available Saturday morning at dawn. Artists may erect
their tent on Friday if desired, but there will be no security on site until Saturday.
• Tents must be staked sufficiently to withstand 20 mph winds (common in the Kentucky
Autumn).
• Booths must display a working fire extinguisher.
Also:
• Food will be available! The Pewee Valley Woman’s Club will have a “sweets table” with
homemade goodies available from 9 am to 3 pm. A limited lunch menu will also be
open for business from 11 to 2.
• Our grounds are home to a mole family. Footing can be tricky. Please use caution.
• Since the Clubhouse is on a septic system, a port-o-let will be set up on site. Ladies and
those with mobility issues are welcome to use the indoor facilities.
• In response to some comments from past shows, we request that any art featuring
“adult” or obscene language be kept under wraps. If a customer asks for such an item,
we ask that you use discretion.

Our Historic Clubhouse is located at 216 Mt. Mercy Drive in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. Google Maps has our next door neighbor pictured in their listing. We are just west of the corner of Central Avenue and Mt. Mercy Drive. Look for a 1-story grey building with white columns. "Pewee Valley Woman's Club" is painted on the building.
Membership is open to women living in Oldham county and the surrounding counties. We currently have members from Jefferson, Henry and Oldham Counties.
General Meetings take place the third Wednesday of each month. Starting at 10 for "gathering" the official business starts at 10:30. Speakers or programs and luncheons round out the meeting. We are usually finished by 1:00.
